Broderick Stephen Harvey is an American television presenter, host, comedian, actor, author, and business man.
He gained his fame for his observational humor and later on became more popular with his self-help advices, especially about relationships.
His stand-up comedy career started when he won an amateur night contest at a local comedy club, and spent the following few years playing in any club that is willing to book him. By the early 1990s, he had become a headliner to well-known clubs in big cities, and then later on appeared on different TV shows.
His talent and perseverance brought him to greater heights as he became a well-known host to different TV shows such as 'Showtime at the Apollo', 'Family Feud', and 'Little Big Shots.'
