Mark Zuckerberg is worldly-known being the co-founder, CEO and President of the popular social networking site, Facebook.
He launched the "thefacebook.com" in 2004 which is then renamed as "Facebook" in 2005 where his fellow Harvard students can enter information and photos into a template that he devised.
With the help of his roommates, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, the site has been added with new features and made its way to become available to other campuses across his country.
Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to concentrate on the rising company, and in May 2005, Facebook received its first major infusion of venture capital amounting to $12.7 million. As Facebook gains popularity, Microsoft paid $240 million for 1.6% stake in Facebook; and two years later, Digital Sky Technologies purchased 1.96% share for $200 million. (from britannica.com)
