Steve Jobs is one of the most respected entrepreneurs and inventors of his time. He became famous and wealthy by creating Apple II (successor of Apple I) which was sold worldwide.
Jobs started two new companies called NeXT and Pixar as he was fired in Apple in 1985.
12 years later, Apple bought NeXT and Jobs returned as the head of the company. Under his renewed leadership, Apple successfully developed and launched iMac, the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad.
Jobs was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer in 2003. He spent the following years fighting against his disease and undergoing several hospitalizations. Still, he was able to personally introduced the iPhone and the iPad keynotes.
And in the 5th day of October 2011, he died at his home at the age of 56.
